Yoga Nidra Series
Torus’ goal is to continue to provide our community various offerings to encourage healing for the mind, body and spirit. Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation and meditation practice that guides individuals into a state of deep relaxation while maintaining full awareness and consciousness. In Yoga Nidra, the goal is to remain awake and alert while experiencing a state of profound relaxation similar to sleep.
Practicing Yoga Nidra one can experience stress reduction, improved sleep quality, relaxation, enhanced self-awareness, emotional healing, increased mindfulness, overall well-being, mental clarity, and inner peace.
- Each session is 60 minutes long
- Practice sitting up or laying down (participant’s choice)
- Dress in comfortable layers
- Props and mat provided
