Hormone Yoga (HY) is a dynamic, 30 minute, set sequence of yoga postures and breathing techniques that naturally eliminate symptoms of hormonal imbalance by stimulating the ovaries, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands.

Though the practice is short, there are many details to learn. You will be taught everything you need to know in order to incorporate it into your life in a way that fits your schedule. HY is suitable for most women, though you will need to check the contraindications below to ensure it is appropriate for you. No yoga experience necessary.

You will receive an email after registration with a questionnaire to fill out.
There are 3 options for participation: Fully In-person (Saturday & Sunday), Hybrid (1 Day In-Person, Live Zoom Recording after Saturdays session), Virtual (Live Zoom). Recordings will be sent to all participants regardless of options. It is strongly encouraged to participant in the live in-person courses if at all possible.

About Bridgette: Bridgette is a senior teacher and Sadhaka yogini in the ISHTA lineage and has been practicing for over 27yrs and teaching for over 20yrs, with over 1000hrs training with master teachers. She specializes in Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Restorative Yoga and runs trainings in Nidra and Meditation. Bridgette discovered HY in 2019 and has been sharing it with
women around the world after getting certified to teach it by the creator, Dinah Rodrigues. Bridgette resides in Calgary with her family, where she continues to offer workshops, classes and retreats, locally and internationally, bringing hormonal balance and relaxation tools to her students, one breath at a time.
Contraindications:
- Hormone Dependent Breast Cancer (and other hormone
dependent cancers) - Pregnancy- You can practice after 6 months of having
the baby or with doctors permission to proceed with
regular exercise. HY can help with breastfeeding. - Diastasis Recti
- Advanced Endometriosis (medical permission needed if
it isn’t advanced, please contact me prior to registering
as you will need to also work with your doctor.) - Recent Eye Surgery (concern is increased ocular
pressure, we invert and we retain breath) - Glaucoma/Detached Retina
- Serious Osteoporosis
- Fibroids/Myomas over 3cm (medical permission needed
for small fibroids, under 3cm) - Appendicitis without the appendix being removed
