Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couple, or group therapy sessions.
- Provide high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic services to clients.
- Utilize EMDR or Somatic Experiencing Therapy to help clients access and heal from trauma by changing deeply rooted beliefs formed during early developmental stages. This transformative process fosters healthier relationships both within themselves and with their environment.
- Develop a niche area of expertise (couples, trauma, EMDR, somatic, family, etc.) and actively market yourself to grow your referral base within the community.
- Collaborate with the Torus team to offer integrative, holistic care.
- Maintain documentation and uphold ethical practices.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Current licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in IL
- Passion for holistic healing and trauma-informed care.
- Open to collaboration and participation in community events.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience or interest in modalities like EMDR, Somatic psychotherapy, couples therapy
- A desire to be part of a mission-driven, heart-centered community.
